The contemporary imageflow is unstoppable.Every second somewhere in the world a picture is created, uploaded, etc. From selfies to photos of food. I did a workshop with children to reflect on this tsunami of pictures that we all produce on a daily basis
Phone photography and other digital forms of photography are often thoughtless and volatile.
By immersing the children with this ancient technique they were forced to think about
technology, content, composition etc.
The goal was to teach the children (in a fun way) the magic of a darkroom. Slowly emerging images in stead of a card you plug in to your computer.
Thinking before shooting in stead of shooting before thinking.
