Elza

A series of snapshots my neighbour Elza. Her partner passed away in 2014 and since then loneliness slowly started to creep in. What started as informal conversations about growing vegetables evolved in weekly visits of me keeping her company, getting groceries, reminiscing the good old days and complaining about the never ending battle with weeds in the garden. Last year she was diagnosed with cervical cancer which eventually became fatal in December last year.
